Name of the pastor – John Lazarus
Field area – Savaram village
This is about pastor John Lazarus his actual name before he was baptised is Narammamidi Siddhayya . He is the fifth son to his parents. From his childhood he was a idol worshipper because he was from a Hindu community. Once he hated Jesus Christ very much and worshipped many idol gods. When he was 19 years old he got married. He used to live as dhobi as it was forefathers profession. When he was 22 years old he got a dreadful disease in which he used to loose much of his blood when he urinated. To cure this disease he met many doctors prayed to many idol gods but he could not get relief from any of these. When all his relatives also left him Unwanting as a last trail he prayed to the Lord Jesus Christ to heal him immediately God healed him through the mighty blood which he shed for us on the Calvary cross. Then he decided that he will preach the word along with his wife and 2 daughters . when we went to this village called Savaram village during our outreach ministry we met this young man and baptised him and his family we gave him the basic training to him in evangelism . Now the congregation in this village is more than 80 members. Please pray for the construction of the church in this village.
Name of the Pastor - sister Vijaya Grace
Field area – Venkayammapeta village
Sister Vijaya Grace is from a hindu back ground her original name is Vijaya lakshmi . Her father name is appa rao and mother name is veeramma. She is the only daughter in her family. She got married when she was studying 5th class then her age was only 12 years it was a child marriage. She was sick for some time her husband divorced her due to her sickness. Everybody made her ashamed and her out of community. Due to this humility she tried to commit suicide and hanged her self but her parents saved. One day when our team went to her village and conducted a street prayer meeting she wanted to come to meeting but her parents opposed her as they did not believe in Jesus Christ. When we were preaching the Holy spirit was moved there. In her house she listened a voice that “ your mother may leave you, your father may leave you, your husband may leave you, your relatives may leave you or may be this whole world may leave you But I will not leave you my daughter” then she realized that it was the voice of the God. On that day she accepted Jesus Christ and came to us . We were still on that street preaching and told what had happened . I t was a miracle. She sacrificed her whole life for God to save many souls for His kingdom . Now she conducts Sunday worship and Friday fasting prayer in a small hut (rented) with a congregation of 60 members
Field Area - Sampath Nagaram village
Pastor lazar is an orphan his parents both mother and father die when he 5 years old. His grand mother looked after him . when he was 12 years old his grand mother also died. He has to stop his studies due to financial problems. He worked in near by quarry crushing stones . He got married when he was 18 years old fortunately the girl he married was a staunch Christian believer. She told him about Jesus Christ first he did not accept and hated very much. He started abusing his wife and lead a worldly life. When sister Elizabeth visited this village his wife came and told about him. They both prayed for his salvation. One day he was very sick due to the pain in the heart he felt that he will die. But when his wife prayed for him he was healed . From then he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal saviour. He is now the pastor of the church at sampath nagaram village with 120 believers in his congregation.
